Quest — Services Marketplace
A marketplace that puts the people who need a service in front of the people who provide it, and keeps both halves of the deal — the conversation and the payment — inside the platform.
Built at Davinda. Two sides who do not know each other have to find each other, agree, talk, and pay. A marketplace is trusted for exactly as long as none of that has to happen somewhere else.
So the platform owns the middle. Requests come from one side and offers from the other, and the messaging between them belongs to the platform rather than to a phone number swapped in a comment — which is the moment a marketplace stops being able to stand behind anything.
Payment is the other half of the same promise. It runs through the app, so there is a record of what was agreed and what changed hands, and the platform can act on a dispute instead of hearing about one.
My part was the backend — the matching, the messaging, and the payment integrations.
